About Me

I caught the photo bug when my mother bought me my first "real" camera for my 14th birthday. It was a Pentax ME SE. Although someone robbed my lenses and my collection of Cokin filters, 31 years later I still have the camera.

After some hard use in high school and college, I decided it was time to replace my beloved Pentax and step up to one of the new autofocus models. After years of adding and upgrading to my camera stock, some may think my current collection of seven 35mm Canon EOS cameras is a little excessive, especially since I have shelved them for the digital versions. My son is happy every time I upgrade cameras, because he is first in line to inherit my old cameras.

I consider my work to be "Life Photography." Whether I am shooting a wedding, a family portrait, or a little league baseball game, I approach it as an opportunity to tell a story in a fun, creative, unposed, and unobtrusive manner.
