Photography and art have defined my life for 20 years...I work as staff photojournalist for the Asheville Citizen-Times and freelance for regional and national clients including USA Today, The Associated Press, MSNBC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. 2010 promises to be an exciting year as I continue promoting my book,The Soul Tree.

Style

My style is to follow the action...shooting whatever is happening, whenever it is happening...all the time. Capturing the emotions of a wedding through photographs can be a fun and rewarding experience for everyone!

Staying true to photojournalistic form, I shoot lots…and lots of photos. Your set of high resolution digital images will contain hundreds of edited photos (over which you will have complete control). I like to document the wedding day as it unfolds...capturing candid and spontaneous moments in a persistent yet un-intrusive manner.

I am more than happy to accommodate posed photos upon request. I will try to work with you beforehand to determine the best time and location for taking any desired family portraits. It is up to you to make certain the appropriate family members are on hand for these photographs.

Photographs

You will receive your set of high resolution images on CD or DVD within 3 weeks of your wedding. By owning these, you have the right to make reprints for yourself, your friends, and your family.

I carefully edit and tone each photograph myself to ensure the highest quality image possible.

 

Investment

In 2010, I will be shooting a limited number of weddings as I promote my book, The Soul Tree, which is available at TheSoulTree.org.

I never double-book weekends so that I can offer my full attention and creative energy to you and your family and friends.
