Photography has been my life for 20 years, and it is an honor to share it with you on your wedding day. Having developed an artful and sophisticated eye as a photojournalist and fine-art photographer, I can accommodate a variety of styles, from traditional and elegant to photojournalism and fine art. I work with you from the beginning so that your photos will be personal and custom works of art.

My resume is extensive, with clients including USA Today, The Associated Press, the North Carolina Symphony, Blue Mountain Living, WNC Magazine, The Asheville Chamber of Commerce, and the Asheville Citizen-Times, where I have been on staff since 1997.

Style

It is my belief that capturing a wedding through photographs can be a fun and rewarding experience for everyone!

I usually arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony to meet the families and to photograph the bride and groom as they prepare for their big day. Staying true to photojournalistic form, I shoot lots…and lots of photos. Your set of high resolution digital images will contain hundreds of edited photos (over which you will have complete control). I like to document the wedding day as it unfolds...capturing candid and spontaneous moments in a persistent yet un-intrusive manner.

I am more than happy to accommodate posed photos upon request. I will try to work with you beforehand to determine the best time and location for taking any desired family portraits. It is up to you to make certain the appropriate family members are on hand for these photographs.

Photographs

You will receive your set of high resolution images on CD or DVD within 2 weeks of your wedding. By owning these, you have the right to make reprints for yourself, your friends, and your family.

Most packages come with a hard-bound proof book containing hundreds of un-watermarked images. Online proof viewing and print ordering will also be available for six months after your wedding. A wide range of prints, albums, coffee table books, DVD slideshows, greeting cards, and other products available a la carte.

Pricing

Every wedding is unique, and my photography packages are custom designed with this in mind. All packages include a disc of high resolution digital images with printing rights and an online gallery from which friends and family can order prints.

Packages with two photographers are available, as I work with several highly recognized and award-winning photojournalists.
